Pei P. Kuo

Of Counsel

Pei P. Kuo earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology. While attending UCSD, Pei conducted intensive research on autism at the UCSD Autism Intervention, Stroke & Psycholinguistic Research Lab. He was also the President and Music Director for the UCSD Beat A Cappella, where the organization provided performances for the student body and the local community.

Pei then enjoyed a three year post-undergraduate internship at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati where he drafted corporate governance charters, researched IPO reports, and stock-option backdating cases.

Pei then began his matriculation into the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he served as the Acquisition Editor for the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review (HICLR) and the Mentorship Program Director for the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA). Pei also continued to hone his musical talents by serving as the President for the Hastings Legal Notes, a music ensemble of law school students and professors.

Pei focuses his legal practice on business startups and has extensive experience providing legal counsel for startup companies in developing their business and products or services. Pei has served as outside general counsel for multiple business startups in the Bay Area.

In his spare time, Pei enjoys exploring the outdoors whether it’s hiking, running or biking. He is an avid Golden States Warriors fan and was thrilled to see them become the NBA Champions this past season. Pei is also a proud Eagle Scout, a best-selling Kindle e-book author and part-time personal trainer. Pei is conversational in Chinese-Mandarin.
